Samsung Galaxy S20: Everything You Need to Know

Learn about the Samsung Galaxy S20 – the latest flagship smartphone that was announced recently.

Following their trend of previous years, Samsung has officially announced their latest flagship smartphone devices in an Unpacked event in February. With the first launch arriving soon; it's time you learn about all the important things about the Galaxy S20s.

The Samsung Galaxy S20

As always, Samsung has tried to pack all the latest and greatest smartphone technologies into their flagship phones of 2020. There are three different variants – the Galaxy S20, a bit larger S20 Plus, and the biggest of them all, the S20 Ultra.

All three variants of the S20 lineup are pretty similar in the sense that they have 120Hz displays, expandable storage, water resistance, and wireless charging. They are also equipped with the same Snapdragon 865 processors. Moreover, they are all compatible with 5G, although the regular Galaxy S20 won't connect to mmWave 5G networks.

Anyways, in addition to the size of the display, the trio of Galaxy S20 smartphones also differs in some key areas like battery capacity, internal storage options, etc. Of course, the biggest difference can be seen in the rear camera setup, with the S20 Ultra sporting a huge 108MP primary sensor, tripled up with a standard 12MP wide-angle sensor, as well as 48MP telephoto with an incredible 100x zoom.

Prices of the Galaxy S20 Smartphones

Starting at $1000, $1200, and $1400 respectively; the Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra are pretty expensive. They are available to pre-order in all major US carriers and retailers, with Samsung offering a $100 voucher, $150 gift card, and $200 credit for the basic, plus and the Ultra variants. As for contracts, both Verizon and Sprint are offering some generous deals.
